Arab Film Festival to screen two Iran films

Arabisches Film Festival in Germany is to play host to two films from Iran. 

The 14th edition of Arabisches Film Festival will screen two Iran films ‘Hendi & Hormoz’ by Abbas Amini and 'Dressage' by Pouya Badkoubeh.

The two Iran screen productions will be showcased in “SHUBBAK - Window to Islamic World” section of the event.

They formerly went on screen at the 68th Berlin Int'l Film Festival (Berlinale) in Germany with 'Dressage' succeeding to receive jury members’ award from the Generation section of the festival.

'Dressage' has also gone on screen at several global festivals, including the 8th “On the Edge” Sakhalin Filmfest in the US, the 2018 Melbourne Int'l Film Festival in Australia, the 21st Shanghai Int'l Film Festival in China, the 11th Granada Int'l Film Festival in Spain, and the 65th Sydney Int'l Film Festival in Australia.

The 14th edition of Arab Film Festival will take place on October 5-13, 2018 in the German city of Tübingen.
